Since the holiday season, New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies were “out in full force” to curtail impaired drivers in the region.
Among those arrested include:
Friday, Jan. 5:
- Michael Hogh, 26, of Carmel, was charged with DWAI following a motor vehicle collision on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh;
- Spencer Fein, 41, of Waccabuc, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a traffic stop on Route 35 in Lewisboro.
Saturady, Jan. 6:
- Kevin Alvarez-Pesantez, 20, of Danbury, Conn., was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a traffic stop on Route 6 in Southeast;
- Jessica Syska, 26, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with Aggravated DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway in Claverack;
- Robert Mitchell, 53, of Hudson, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a traffic stop on Route 9 in Greenport;
- Gary Roberts, 37, of Cambria Heights was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol on Route 94 in Wappinger;
- Kaspar Meier, 48, of Hillsdale, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol driving on Route 217 in Claverack.
Sunday, Jan. 7:
- Anthony Bracco, 32, of Danbury, Conn., was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol on I-84 in Southeast;
- Trevor Cable, 21, of Brewster, was charged with DWI after being busted driving while impaired by alcohol on I-84 in Southeast;
- Brian Alfaro, 28, of Redding, Conn. was charged with DWI after being found driving while intoxicated on Route 121 in Southeast;
- Erin O’Halloran, 32, of Millerton, was charged with Aggravated DWI after being found driving while impaired on Route 44 in Amenia.
Monday, Jan. 8:
- Ismael Vasquez-Garcia, 23, of Danbury, Conn. was charged with DWI after being found intoxicated on Route 6 in Southeast.
Each of the violators were charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Each has been released on their own recognizance and is due back in court later this year to answer the charges.
